Disc centrifuges are used to separate juice from solid particles that may be present in it using centrifugal force. They operate continuously, allowing for full automation of the line for obtaining raw fruit juices. Freshly squeezed juice is introduced into the device. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the juice is separated from solid particles. These devices are particularly recommended for the production of naturally cloudy juices. The juice is separated from solid parts within a dozen or so seconds, which significantly reduces the oxidation reactions of both health-promoting ingredients and those affecting the organoleptic characteristics of juices. In addition, due to the small and closed space, the process can be carried out in an inert gas atmosphere.
