DESCRIPTION
General characteristics
The typical construction of the pumps manufactured by Spomasz – the impeller mounted directly on the extended end of the motor shaft.
The PWe is the positive displacement pump equipped with the impeller with flexible vanes, whose eccentric mounting enables the volume between the vane and the body to be changed – the volume at the suction side is higher and it is gradually reduced and at the discharge side at the lowest volume it is pushed out into the discharge pipe.
The above pump construction ensures the stable flow of the medium (reducing the pulsing flow to minimum) and makes it possible to pump the medium with soft and hard particles without their grinding.
The rotation of the pump motor can be reversed to change the direction of flow in the pump.
The pump drive is the three-phase asynchronous motor provided with thermistors. It is possible to use the inverter to ensure stepless adjustment of the pump capacity.
Application
Pumping high viscosity liquids – exceeding the viscosity range of rotodynamic pumps that is above 800 cP.
Pumping thickened liquids:
- Creams, shampoos, soap
- Pastes in liquid form
- Emulsions thickened during production of cosmetics
- Cream, thickened cream, homogenised cheese, cottage cheese
- Honey and honey based products
- Jams, fruit preserve, syrups
Pumping of non-thickened liquids is also possible, but the use of the rotodynamic pumps for this purpose is more economical.
